The Terrorist Affairs Bureau is the US Counter-Terrorism Agency headquartered in the mega-metropolis of New Frontier, the earths largest city. It’s housed in a series of eleven connecting skyscrapers and employs over 30,000 employees. This US Government agency investigates domestic terrorist activity. The TAB can command jurisdiction over all other law enforcement and government agencies, save the CIA and NSA.
TAB agents can declare any crime an act of terrorism. Doing so gives them legal jurisdiction over the investigation of a crime, crime scene or the apprehension of a suspect. They can also reverse their ruling as well, thus turning the investigation or apprehension of a suspect back over to the original law enforcement agency that initially responded.
This has made them the ire of every law enforcement agency in the mega-metropolis of New Front. An ire coupled with the fact that TAB detectives and investigative agents, or street agents, are usually very well educated, very well paid, and sometimes express an air of class superiority within the law enforcement community. Shock Troops Shock Troops are special weapons and tactics officers of the Terrorist Affairs Bureau. They are armed and trained to meet terroristic threats up to and including armed conflict. Each division in the TAB has it’s own set of shock troops: Teams Alpha, Bravo, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot, Kilo, Juliet, Sierra, Tango, Omega, and Zulu.

The most elite field detectives in the Terrorist Affairs Bureau make up this division. This department was named The Insomniac Division because these detectives never rest until the get their man. Most of them rarely sleep well either, fueled on unlimited cups of coffee, passion for the job and an almost vigilante desire to bring their suspects to justice.
The Quick Response Unit of the TAB aka The Black Viper Response/Assault unit is the first to arrive on the scene of a suspected terrorist attack. They usually arrive in light mecha battleroids to immediately respond to any threat or hostility still present at the crime scene. If the threat is more than they are able to handle the Heavy Mecha Division is called in.
This advanced technology wing of the TAB deals in the development and manufacture of state of the art weapons and firearms for the TAB as well as the allotment, tracking and distribution of division firearms and weapons to the TAB officers in the four field divisions: Insomniac, Heavy Mecha, Quick Response and Investigations and Arrests and supplemental divisions: Interrogation and Debriefing and Intelligence and Monitoring.
This division of the TAB deals in the questioning and pain management of terrorists or arrestees who are suspects in acts of terrorism. After the desired information is pulled from these detainees this division holds a debriefing with the Insomniac, Investigations and Arrests and Legal and Jurisprudence Division heads. The heads of these divisions then hold briefings with subordinates in their respective departments.
This division is filled with 3500 employees, one thousand lawyers, two hundred judges, legal staff, legal secretaries, assistants and researchers. This division operates round the clock as does all of the TAB and they provide the Insomniac, Investigations and Arrests and Interrogation and Debriefing divisions with the legal support and validation they need to carry out their duties. They provide on-demand search warrants, round-the-clock courtrooms, and on demand legal proceedings.
This division is responsible for the primary and secondary gathering of intelligence information on suspected terrorists, terrorist groups, terrorist cells and terrorist activities. This intelligence gathering includes physical and electronic monitoring and surveillance, and undercover investigations and infiltration into terrorist cells and suspected terrorists organizations. The information gathered is recorded, documented and passed onto the other divisions of the TAB on an as needed basis.
This division is responsible for fact-finding and the examination of evidence. This includes lab analysis of evidence from crime scenes of terrorists activities, on-site field examinations of crime scene sites as well as the gathering of any and all information needed for any investigation the other divisions in the TAB request. This division compiles it’s research, analyzes what it’s learned and passes it on to the waiting division on an as needed basis.

Invisible Men are like ghosts. They are highly trained government spies and skilled in espionage and light wetwork. They carry out their missions so discreetly that their results can go unnoticed for days. They are so skilled that eyewitnesses (which are rare) are unable to recall what they looked like and are even unable to identify them in a lineup.
